Children's Church
When parents and godparents bring children for baptism they promise to encourage them in the life of faith in the hope that one day they will choose for themselves to live life as a Christian and be confirmed.
Obviously, to fulfil this promise parents and godparents have to introduce their children into the life of the Church and set them a good example.
So it is that in this parish we take very seriously our part in encouraging children and young people to learn and to experience what it is to be a follower of Jesus.
The following groups are available at 10.30am on a Sunday morning in our Millennium Centre while the rest of us are worshipping in Church:
| Creche: | 0-3 years in Garden Room 1 |
| Pebbles: | 3-6 years in Garden Room 2 |
| Rocks: | 7-9 years in the Main Hall |
| Boulders: | 10 years and over in the Barbara Bishop Room |
Each group provides exciting opportunities for learning and making friends which are appropriate to the particular age groups. The Boulders join in, in Church, during the middle of the service, with the other groups coming in just before the end.
